Houma Indian Recognition Petition Help Requested

Hi,

It would be greatly appreciated if you can just pass the word of
this petition along to your friends, family, organizations, and listserv. The
Houma Indians really need our help, and it will only take a few minutes to make
a great impact in these people’s lives. Please help the Houma Indians get
recognized by the government so they can get schools and other resources to
improve their lives. All you have to do is click on the link and sign the
petition! After meeting some yesterday, I can tell you that they are some of
the friendliest people I’ve ever met!

Thanks,  NhuNgoc Pham

Hi,
The United Houma Nation is participating in President Obama’s petition program.
If the tribe can collect 25,000 signatures in 30 days, the petition will be
passed through the proper legislative channels hopefully resulting in Houma
federal recognition. The deadline for collecting signatures is December 1,
2011. The link to the petition can be found here: http://wh.gov/b2P

Please sign it and help spreading the link.

Best regards,
Adam Crepelle
